I having a weird problem with tcp/ip settings. When I enter a static settings to a nic and double check the settings with ipconfig on cmd it looks fine. but after I check the nic properties again and shows like it got default values(dhcp), checking the ipconfig again shows it got the static settings!!!
the settings are completely lost when I reboot!
I tried reinstalling the nic device drivers, reinstalling tcp/ip settings on the nics(assinging netbui and clearing tcp/ip checkbox, restart and setting tcp/ip again) and nothing helps.
I checked the Netsh command and it shows like it got dhcp (while ipconfig shows static settings) so it may be a start to solve this problem, but I'm afraid of screwing up the system. this server is very critical and cannot be reinstall at this moment!
anyone got experience with this problem please feel free to make my day ;-)
