I baught an Intel CS110 Webcam, then discovered the drivers were only good for Win98. I went to the Intel site and downloaded the upgrade drivers. Got camera going. Then when I restarted my PC and went to use the camera it said it wasn't connected. Then in the System Panel I discover the system reading 3 USB ports and Root Hubs, when I actually have only two. I have tried removing all driver related files, disconnecting the camera and then repeating the process but still no camera. Does anyone have any answers. If so I would appreciate any help.
Then restart your computer, this will re-enumerate all USB devices currently connected to your computer, and also remove the false root hubs and ports.
