I have recently installed but then uninstalled different video codecs (Nimo, etc.) because it was bugging my Windows Media Player. But now I have the following problem: When I use my Webcam (Logitech QuickCam Pro 3000), I cannot record video or use the Motion Detector (with the video recording option). I still can record picture snapshop, but for video, I got the "HVideoS.exe has generated errors and Windows will close it" error, even after uninstalling and re-installing that software.
My guess is that it's not that software that is in fault but some video driver in Windows. But I am still able to use Windows Media Player to read video...
So what's the problem!!! Let me know if you got the slightest idea! Thanks!
