Hello,
I'm using Windows 2000 professional and i have been getting the following error message: "Program Error
Waol.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows.
You will need to restart the program.
An error log is being created." It gives meu that message while connecting to AOL or when online on the websites (especially when dowloading pictures).
The AOL help line gave me this solution:
"1. On the AOL toolbar click on Settings -> Preferences-> Font, Text & Graphics.
2. Change the setting for Maximum disk space to use for online art prompt to 5MB.
3. Click Save and then restart AOL.
4. When AOL restarts, go back and increase the file size to 40MB, which is the default.
5. Close down the Preferences screen and close down AOL.".
they also advised on scanning the disk or even defragmenting it but nothing has worked so far.
Can anyone help.
Thanks a million.
