Can I replace the blue background during boot with my wallpaper? I know how to change the color of it, but can I put a 1024x768 image right there?

You mean put an image when Windows is at POST. Not possible. your image should be up when loading programs as it has already booted though. Its just loading programs and you have to wait, but you cant put an image when its POST-ing
