1 - How can I make Windows (of shortcuts) open maximized? I am the administrator of my system and no matter what I do, they keep opening as a normal window. The MAXIMIZED selection is still active in the PROPERTIES, even in my main Administrator account, but they do not open to the max. What am I doing wrong? 2 - MSDOS windows. They close automatically. In 9x, I used to be able to select if I want a DOS based program to close when finished or not. How can I change this for my DOS programs in 2k? 3 - In Win 98, I had programs like Disk Cleanup and Norton AV in my Task Scheduler, and they ran. In W2k, they do not run. All they do is open the program and wait for me to click SCAN or CLEAN or OK. Nothing in Task Scheduler runs automatically. Suggestions? I have done all these in the main Administrator account. Am I missing something? I am using 2k at work after using 98. I can not get it to work correctly. I use 98 at home and am faitful to it. 2000 has crashed several time already at work on me after a clean install on a new machine. So I appreciate your time in helping me "fix" Windows 2000.
