do i format the Win 2000 pro clients as FAT32 or NTFS? I have the Win 2000 Server with NTFS.
do i enable file and printer sharing for microsoft networks on the Win 2000 pro clients? or just the Win 2000 Server?
when a user on a client computer goes in the network neighborhood, the user sees all the client computers and the server, should only the server be visible?
how do businesses usually set up these options on there LANs? i want to simulate a small client/server LAN in a business environment!

Generally, in business, you would setup and Active Directory integrated domain with your Windows 2000 Server and then join the clients to the domain.
Your clients should be NTFS for security purposes.
Whether you enable file/print sharing on the clients depends on whether or not they have resources to share. In a Workgroup, you likely would. In an AD domain, likely not as your server(s) should have all the resources on them.
Yes, you should see the other computers in NN.

The server is a DC with Active Directory.
The clients will not have any shares on them.So if i disable file/print sharing on the client computers, then these client computers will not be visible in Network Neighborhood, only the Server will be visible?
