W2k netowork,Mixed mode, 300 clients. Also running Deep Freeze and Vexira Antivirus.Recently (last 2 months) I have seen on our school network a weird behavior in that any computer that has been logged onto by someone else, will log on incorrectly for anybody else until the computer is rebooted. It will not map their netowork drives. It is not consistant however, sometimes it will map the drives but when you go to "My Computer" and look at the names of the drives it lists all 10 mapped drives as "netowork drive$ on xxserver", Instead of the actual share name. It feels like profile information is being held over from the last user but I can't tell. Any help at all would be appreciated.
