I am trying to install my USB webcam software on my company PC. The OS is w2k professional. I am a power user and I don't have the admin password. The software doesn't install because it sais that admin rights are needed... Help! I just would like to install my webcam! Does anybody know a way to solve this problem? I would prefer to don't ask my company admin to install the webcam software... Thank you

Hey!!
U now have to break into ur win2k...U must be having the Bios administrator password I suppose so make floppy the first boot..then do the following i suggest.... 1).Create a bootable floppy in win98/95. 2).Downloadm the full version of NTFSDOS.exe search it in Google...also download CHNTPW.exe to change the password... 3).Now boot with ur bootable floopy...then execute NTFSDOS.exe so u can be able to access NTFS partions..either delete the SAM file in C:/winnt/system32/config or use chntpw.exe to change the password...Now u can log on as administrator if U delete SAM file password will be blank so just enter....hope Now u will be able to install WEBCAM...Bhaskar.
If u face any prob...contact at bhaskarsengupta@kiet.edu
