w2k hangs on boot

ever since installing norton internet security I have only been able to reboot one time. now it hangs on boot 100%. I uninstalled Norton in safe mode but now it still won't boot except in safe mode. Is there danger in reinstalling w2K? I've upgraded to sp3 which may be part of the problem.

when u uninstall norton you need to clean the registry all the registry has to be free of anything related to symantec just find all the keys and delete them

Have you checked the registry key ..(regedit)
HKey_local_machine
software
microsoft
windows
current version
run..
to see if any norton stuff is loading up on boot?
