The HP Drivers website shows a list of the scanners that will not be upgraded for Win2K and 3200C is one of them. I've got one two on a machine, but just use dual boot with Win98 for workaround. Otherwise, a new scanner?

I upgraded my operating system from Windows 98 to NT, and now my scanner doesn't work. Does anyone have any drivers that will let my HP ScanJet 3200C work with Windows NT???
Any help would be appreciated.

I would suggest that Hewlett Packard should be avoided by all in future. They should be sued for fraud by naming their software 'PrecisionScan' as only the slightest test would reveal this to be bug ridden and representative of poor quality. I contacted HP in regard to compatibility with Windows NT and recieved a short reply stating that it is NOT supported with this operating system.

Al my efforts to locate drivers/upgrade for 3200 c scanner of HP have gone in wain. I wonder that whether it was mistake to upgrade to Windows 2000 Professional or buying a HP scanner just two months ago?
If anyone comes to know of drivers or upgrade please let me know

Strange enough there IS a solution, though. The Umax Astra 2200p Scanner Software strangewise works really great with the combination Win 2000 / HP ScanJet 3200C as well. You just need those 4 files to go:
ftp://ftp.umax.com/scanners/vistascan/version3.5.1/parallel_port/vsc351pa.exe
ftp://ftp.umax.com/scanners/vistascan/version3.5.1/parallel_port/vsc351pb.exe
ftp://ftp.umax.com/scanners/vistascan/version3.5.1/parallel_port/vsc351pc.exe
ftp://ftp.umax.com/scanners/vistascan/version3.5.1/parallel_port/vsc351pd.exe
