Hi,

Win2000 crashes when I attach a USB Mass Storage Device, e.g. my digital camera or mp3 player. The driver seems not to be installed, at least the OS starts installation when I attach the camera and turn that on. W2K says it finds a disk drive or whatever and starts installing its driver, but after a short grinding of the HDD I got a blue screen with the following message:

Stop: 0x00000050(0xFFFF...
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
Address 8044F268 base at 80400000 datestamp 3d366b8b - ntoskrnl.exe

I uninstalled all USB devices and then reinstalled them several times, but it did not get better. Does anyone have any idea?
