Comment: I clean installed W2K professional on my ThinkPad X20 some months back and everything was working perfectly until a few days ago, when suddenly it hangs during boot. No error message or anything, just a blue screen with the harddisk light keeps on blinking after the date icon in the task bar comes up. Using Go Back I am able to revert my harddisk and boot normally, but then after sometime I am not able to access any of the programs like Winword, Excel, Write or Paint. I'm up-to-date with all the W2K downloads & upgrades. Please help. Thanks.

Reply: Tak, I have a ThinkPad A20m I had the same problem with the blue screen of death. After I updated the Bios from IBM it worked fine. I never got the blue screen after that. Try this http://www.ibm.com/support/us/ if you did not already. Good luck Bogdan
