Hello, I have this frustrating problem, I had Mandrake 9 on my machine dual booting with W 2000 Pro, took Mandrake off, but left LILO, didnt bother me that much actually. I just came back from vacation, turned on my machine, and get a series of "L 99 99 99 99 99 99 99..." etc across my machine for the LILO. Now, I cant get into W2000 safe mode, cuz the machine isnt past the LILO yet, and cant get to the MBR to remove the LILO. Man, this is driving me nuts, any solutions besides blowing the partition away and restarting? Dont really want to, have a lot of info on that drive.
