Comment: i have a domain LAN with the nt40 server LAN. the network is fine. I set a windows 2000 advanced server as a vpn .it has network card 1 and 2.NIC 1 has it's own internet ip address and gateways. Nic 2 is the local area netowrk with ip range C. Everyt hing is connected properly. here is the problem when i connect from home, or any other location, i double click on network neighborhoot and i cannot browse. eventhough i am connected, i cannot browse or see any computers in the network. but if i go to to search computers, and type the vpn server name . it finds it and i can see the contents of the share. if i type in any other name i cant find it. help me please.. i have been fighting with this thing for 4 months already. thank you

Reply: (edit)The problem is that you do not have the WORKGROUP, yes workgroup setup on the client machine. Put the domain name in their and everything should be okay.
