hey
humm, i've just bought the 3dfx voodoo3 3500TV, and installed the most recent drivers for win2k pro everthing is working fine except for the TV, this one only shows the image on black and white! I think the problem is the video-standard setting and it doesnt have any PAL-M option it only gives me NTSC and as i live in Brazil the video standard here is PAL-M!
Does anybody know how to fix it ?
plz let me know
thank u

But Windows 2000 does not support Webt TV, therefore you cannot watch TV with it on Windows 2000!!!! (That's if your are using Windows 2000, you did post in this room). My solution is this. Return the Card. It is the worst card Windows have ever made. I am a technician and have had to install it for many clients, and not a single one of them has had anything good to say about it, even when using Windows 98. Common complaints are the blue stupi gadget hanging off the back can cuase the card to fall out. It causes windows to hang... Please return this pile of S**t and get another make!!!!!!

I have used the voodoo 3500 with no trouble on win2k adv server. TV works great. Well as good as it did on 98 and ME. Yeah, and games like Unreal tournement work well too. I love 3dfx, but as far as the software for win2k, it just might not be supported. That might be good enough reason to bring it back. But as I stated, It works great for me.

Hi, I'm using the 3500 in PAL. The only reason I can think of is, you might have bought the US version of this card (includes FM tuner). The european version doesn't have this option but works "fine" with PAL and Win2K, anyway, I don't like this card to much. It gets to hot and the capture isn't worth it.

Actualy you can do this easily, you need at least the last update to the drivers for win2k. I have it and can email it to you if you like.
I have Pal-M in my options but live on the west coast of the united states so I use NTSC.

gdfsgsdfg, you oviously arn't a good technician.
