Does your motherboard have an integrated video card? If so, disable it in the device manager, then shut down, plug the voodoo card in, plug the monitor into the voodoo and boot up. You may also have to disable the onboard video in the bios. I am just assuming it has integrated video since you are using a pci Voodoo.
