OK i got a dell Latitude d620 intel core 2 duo Windows Xp. I have tried alot of stuff to get my volume control to work !! But all has failed.. I have Legacy audio Driver and it is enabled and working. But when i try to turn volume up in the controls it says no audio mixers found. Can anyone help. I have tried many things and all failed.

Also wanted to add that it is a laptop and the speakers do work cause when an error happens it does beep!! and that is the only noise it makes. No power up noises nothing from the web or anything.

What have you tried? Does Device Manager show the device as working properly? Did it ever work? If so, what did you change that caused it to not work?
