I have been trying to install norton and mcafee anti-virus programs on my Win 2000 computer. During installation the programs seem to just disappear and the installation is not completed. When i return to install it again the setup ffeature is no longer available. It may be possible that i have an existing virus on my computer which may not allow me to install such programs.
Can anybody please help me????
Thanks

It's not a good idea to install multiple anti-virus programs on your computer.

I'd recommend you remove the HDD, piggy-back it to another drive and run an anti-virus scan on it.

Never install 2 antivirus programs on a HD. It causes too many conflicts.
