Hello people,
I am having some problems with my video which just started recently.

I have Geforce4 Ti4200 with AGP8x 128 MB ram, video card.
When running directX aplication (here primarily thinking of 3D games), the aplication crashes.
The following message occurs:

Microsoft Visual C++ runtime library (as the name of the title window)
Runtime error!
name of the aplication.exe
abnormal program termination

So afterwards I can't run any game at all.Everytime this message appears even before the aplication starts.

I am curently solving this problem by reinstaling drivers for my video card (detonator 45.23) but the problem reapears.

I need to mention that I had Visual C++ installed and that I haven't uninstaled it as it should be uninstall (by add/remove programs)

Vieo card is some 2 months old and it is from manufacturer INNO

If anyone has a solution to my problem please reply.

with regards,
Elvin

P.S. Sorry for my bad english

The C++ runtime error probably have nothing to do with the fact that U didn't uninstall visual c++ properly. The c++ runtime error I would guess, just like you did,is a result of bad drivers of some kind. You could also try updating the directX from microsofts homepage. Hope that will do the trick.
