Comment:

Every time the "u" or "U" key is pressed on the keyboard the "Utility
Manager" window opens, even if nobody is logged on. IT
DOES NOT NEED THE WINDOWS KEY TO BE PRESSED AT THE SAME
TIME

This means that everytime anybody presses the U button on
the keyboard no U is typed and the "Utility Manager" is
started, this stops anybody with a U in their logon from
logging on.

I have tried DISABLING the "Utility Manager" service - the
result is that when the U key is pressed on the keyboard
the Utility Manager does not open but the U letter is not
written to the screen either.

I have tried the remapkey.exe from the W2K RK. and the result of that is that it shows all the keys are maped correctly.

Do you know how this can be stopped? If you provide the answer to this question I will send you a packet of English biscuits mmmm!

Hi,

Some control keys are holded. Release the control keys in Keyboard. It mostly like if you press key "E" or "e" will open explorer.

Try this.

Bye....Srini
