I have installed a DFE530Tx ethernet card into my computer running windows 200, however I have been unable to find the drivers for it and have not been succesfull geting it to work. It does work on windows ME (I have a dual boot machine) but doesn;t really opperate at the speed i would expect it to.

Well, I don't do the driver hunt for others, so go to the manufacturer's website and locate the drivers. You might have a card that will not work with Windows 2000. Also try putting in the card and having Windows 2000 search for new hardware (and make sure there are no ghosts or confilcts in your Device Manager). Windows 2000 is not the same as Windows ME, different architecture......

I have the same card and I think Win2k has the drivers built in......I knoe I haven't had the need to install ANY NIC drivers for Win2k for any of my cards except PC Cards.
Try reinstalling the driver and look in \winnt\inf

I have this same card. It uses a Via VT86C100A chip. There is a driver for this included in Win2k.
