Hi all,
A colleague of mine has got following problem with his system: when trying to open the applet "add/remove programs" only a blank window opens and no programs are visible. This happens also in other situations where there are e.g. some options to choose with a dot - he can see only the "round windows" where the dots are to be put and nothing else (this is what he told me - I don't know precisely how it precisely looks like). He believes that the problem happened after the installation of the trial version of "System Mechanic 5.0" or so. I heard somewhere that there is an option "Users configuration" where the administrator himself can define what can be visible and what no. But how to enter the "User Configuration" under Windows 2000 Professional"? How can I switch on/off the accessibility of the applets in the Control Pannel?
