I can`t get my printer to work with usb cable (haven`t tried parallell yet). The printer beeps seven times, and blinks seven times in yellow. I have tried to upgrade the drivers, but the only one not producing error messages is the built-in usb printing support. When mounting the scanner head, the scanner works fine!
and yes, i have downloaded the win2k drivers from canon.
system:
compaq presario 5676
additional:
adaptec aha 2940u2w scsi controller
yamaha crw8424s scsi rewriter
Is there a solution, or is the printer damaged?
