Check to see if the device loaded twice by going to Add Remove Hardware choose Uninstall and select show hidden devices. Remove all redundants and obsoletes. Remove the USB storage device and then uninstall the software. Reboot and reinstall the device in accordance with the manufacturers directions. When Windows asks for the driver point to WinNT System32 file. That should do it for you. There is a lot of good information at the site listed in Home URL.
