My friend had the black plastic stabilizer thing on the end of her ps/2 keyboard plug break off in the port. You can not get the the keyboard to plug in now. The mouse port still works fine. I have hooked up a USB keyboard and it will work in Bios and will let me go to the Windows boot page and will let me select what mode I want to load in. The problem is that it won't let me type to logon to Windows using the password. I have enabled the USB keyboard on Bios and have saved my setting and have rebooted countless times. Does it need a driver to get it to work and if so can it be obtained by a boot disk/installation disk? Do I have to be in the desktop to be able to fully install it? Thanks
