usb drivers not found by win2k

No usb device works under win2k. Every time the OS starts the wizard hardware but when asking for drivers it stops. I have USB 2.0 and yes, the BIOS has been checked. On my second harddisk with windows XP pro I have no problems. Can anyone give me a clue where to find the needed driver(s)? Thx
