I have an exclamation next to USB DEVICE under device manager. When I try to update the driver it asks for dpcusb.sys. So I supply the correct driver (from DirecPC) and when it is finished updating the driver I get, "An error occurred during the installation of the device. The installation failed because a function driver was not specified for this instance." My specs are:
PII celeron, 128MB ram, WIN2000Pro. Please Help - Thank You!

Sounds to me like you don't have a WIN 2K driver for your device. That is what the function driver not specified for this instance is about. Try the vendor's website and get the latest drivers.
