Hi all,

I have a server that I am running Win2k on and I access it only by terminal services. I try putting a 1g Mini Cruzer USB drive in and I can see it in removable storage and disk mngmt within computer mngmt, but it will not show in windows explorer. After logging off the terminal server and logging back in I can see it and interact with it in Windows explorer, but I can not remove it. It works normally when I log in to the machine locally, but has weird characteristics when I am TS'd in. I log in using the Administrator account.

Can anyone help with this issue?

win 2k terminal server does not have very good USB support for remote connections.

95% of USB devices plugged into a client that logs into a 2k TS will not function properly.

MS has done a better job with 2k3 TS, but its still not great.

I think USB support through TS will always be a bit "off" because of the amount of diferent USB chipsets and devices.
