I wish to attach a USB keyboard to a USB 2.0 pci card. However, I get the message "keyboard not attached" when I try to boot. Works fine if I don't use the pci usb port.
Does the pci bus need a driver and thus will not work properly until an OS is loaded?
If you are short on USB ports to use on the MBoard you can connect the mouse to the card. Mice don't work in the startup or BIOS modes. If you never use DOS then you shouldn't have any trouble.
