Please could you help me in creating partitions in windows 2000 set-up.
We have several computers networked using windows 2000 and they display the information below. One hard disk partitioned as follows:

-- unknown 24 MB FAT
C: NTFS 9044 MB
D: NTFS 1001 MB

FDISK information

Partition Status Type Mbytes Usage
1 NON-DOS 24 %
2 A NTFS 9044 47%
3 EXT DOS 10001 52%

Please could you inform me how I create all of the above in the windows 2000 installation procedure? I am at a loss and the children cannot use the new computers until they are set-up as above. How do I go about this and especially how to create the non-dos partition and what is it for.

Many thanks

Install w2k srv on min 2gig part, or 2k wks on 1gig. then use disk manager in computer management to creat the volumes and / or parttions you need
