Ok, You guys are my last resort and a friend of mine told me about this site :) Either I am totally totally dumb or I am completely missing something. I am studying for the MCDBA tests with about 15 books. I have a class scheduled soon but decided to turn my home into a practice center :) I have a book on the 70-215 test and it tells me to upgrade my server to a domain controller through the DCPROMO utility. Whenever it tries to install Active Directory I get - The network location can not be reached. I have followed the directions so I am at a loss with this *sigh* Any help is greatly appreciated.
