I have a Visioneer One Touch 5300 usb scanner, which worked fine with win. 98. I updated to w2k, and now it's saying it doesn't work with w2k...normally I'd drop it, but I was told I could get a new driver for 2k on the website (which hasn't helped much)...I bought this thing a while ago, and I wouldn't be too sad to see it go, especially because Visioneer has this cool trade-in sale going on...but if I can save it, that's much more convenient. Thanks very much for your attention.

Hi Evelynn, here's the Visioneer home page that offers drivers for your scanner for Windows 2000. Bob

Evelynn,
I have the same problem as you have but with different scanners (ACER). I solved it by installing the scanner straight after installing W2K without service pack. Make sure it works before installing service pack 2.
1) W2K 2) Scanner Driver 3) Service Pack 2

I have the same scanner as you,I also had the same problem as you.The way I solved it was to uninstall the paperport software and the driver, then I just install the scanner driver.I use photoshop when I use the scanner and it works fine.I didnt even go to the Visioneer site and download a win 2000 driver I am using the one that came on the install disk when I bought the scanner.
