unwanted shut downs

I installed Win2k(Pro), and upgraded My IE to 5.5, ever since i noticed when im conneted to the internet, it gives me a SVCHOST.exe error , and i have to close my browser, and the computer shutsdown by itself, and restarts, and scandisk begins cause of an illegal shutdown, also my computer wont shut down by itself when i shut it down, but in win98 it shutsdown by itself, can anyone please advice me..

visit support.microsoft.com and download blaster.worm patch and goto symatic website from a link at microsoft to download FixBlast.exe to fix your problem.

It might not be the virus womr blaster thingy though something may have been corrupted when you upgraded your internet explorer or os if the virus patch from microsoft works thats great but instead of downladed a bunchy o0f stuff to remove the virus youn could try trenmicros free online virus scan it will detect and eliminate all of the known version of the lovesan/ blast virus
