I work for a company who has been having problems with quite a few computers out in the field lately. These computers will randomly come up with a message saying "Unsafe Removal of Devices" and give a list of random devices such as floppy disk controller, printer, com ports, hard drives etc saying they were unsafely removed while the computer was on. When this happens it generally makes the other computers on the network either freeze up or give network related errors. These are all Dell Optiplex computers ranging from GX100 -> GX260. Has anybody seen this happen before and/or know how to fix this?

Normally when some1 take out or remove hardware from the system without stopping the service, the message will prompt out.
find out the workstation using PCI/PCMCIA device/Removable device.
try remove those device AFTER you stop the service

No these are normal desktops and there are no devices whatsoever being removed from them, not even USB devices or anything.
