Here are the symptoms;

Just about every session,somewhat randomly, I begin to recieve MULTIPLE popups saying
"Unsafe Removal of Device" Sometimes 10 or 15. Just before these windows appear I get a "Found New Hardware" message.

The name of the Hardware?
[AT|PI CD|R|?M 50X]? `

I get multiples of these as well, and this continues until the system crashes you see
closing the "Unsafe Removal of Device" windows do no good, they just keep coming and there is no way to cancel the procedure, rundll32.exe runs in the backgraound with each new occurence of this plauge. I have tried shutting down rundll32.exe to no avil they just keep coming.

I disabled my CDROM...it worked...for awhile but the cat came back the very next day...

It's driving me crazy, MY Anti-Virus says there are no viruses, Trend-Micro says I am safe...What is going on?

I also know USB devices can cause this but since I hate USB, I don't use any. I also disabled my USB controllers
