Model/Manufacturer: DELL OptixPlex GX100

Hi

I have a user on office 2000, when she receives email they no longer
show as 'bold' unread messages. Each one comes in as read. manually
right clicking and marking as unread still does not make the message
bold.


this has only started happening for this morning, and I cannot find
the right setting to correct this.

Assuming she's using Outlook, check the settings for the Preview Pane, if she's using that. It may be set to mark as read when selection changes, or set to mark as read after 1 second.

Found the Answer :

she had changed the Automatic formating and selected standard font for unread messages instead of bold !
