Have you installed the MBoard chipset drivers? You didn't give suffiecent specs to know or not, is your MBoard based on a nVidia chipset? If so, an internal SATA HD will appear as a removable drive. Therefore the icon will be present. This is by design in order to safely remove eSATA drives. There is a setting to change this behavior but you don't want to use it as it will slow the system down. Is this your situation?

OK thank you,
I have a SATA motherboard with a IDE disk So that could be the problem.
I tried to install the motherboard drivers but was not succesfull de device still shows a yellow remark sign.
The problem I have is that the system doesnot recognize a memory stick when I insert in the USB.
Thank you
Anna

No, if you are not using the SATA ports that isn't the problem then.
Are you saying the MBoard drivers wouldn't install, or that didn't help?
What device is the yellow mark next to? Post the message and error if present.
