Can any one please help me I am trying to install a pci to usb adaptor witch install fine but when I go to install a mass storage device It come up with unknown device in device manager under usb. I have tryed 4 diffrent devices two flash drives the camrea and a external usb drive they all do the same

If the PCI card has a ALi or VIA chipset bin it and buy one with a NEC Chipset

Hello, Your description of the problem seems to point to drivers for the USB/PCI card. Does your PCI/USB card require drivers? If so then you need to install them. If you don't have them, you will need to search for them on the manufactures site or a creditable driver supply site. Get them and install them.
