We are using Checkpoint firewall and i want to browse my NT4.0 server(DOMAIN)
which is behind fire from my machine win98OS.
i'm able to ping but i'm unable to browse system.
our firewall administrator says we cant browse the system(server) behind fire
because it wont allow neBEUI traffic(Packets).........

Reply:

you can ping it because your firewall needs to allow ip traffic through.

could try at the run prompt

\\ip address here\

this works on an internal network
