Don't know about Win2000 server edition but with 2000 pro you need to have at least SP3 installed in addition to the Enable bigLBA.
In order to install to a partition larger than 128GB you may need to slipstream SATA drivers and the latest service packs. Enabling 48bit LBA after the fact if installing to that drive will still only yield 128GB in the primary partition.
