Hi. My problem is I am unable to log on to one particular website from my desktop pc. The website in question is a photo library. When click on 'log on' I get a message saying the page is unavailiable. I can access the page from my laptop running XP Pro and from any other pc with any OS. I've contacted the website and they say there is no problem with it. I have tried a different browser on the PC with the same results. The browser settings seem OK. I've tried with the firewall and popup blocker turned off. Any ideas please?

From the brief description it sounds like some piece of software is stopping you from accessing that site. Try accessing it from safemode with networking as a test. Normally I would say check in msconfig but Win 2000 does not have it by default, but it can be downloaded as an application here:

then go to http://www.sysinfo.org/startuplist.php
and enter the start up items that you are not sure of.
