Friend of mine got infected w/ sub7 on his 98 machine and everything got totally messed up. Even after removing, everything would freeze, etc, so I cleared it out and installed 98 again but no network/sound/video hardware would be detected, so after a bunch of trouble shooting which got me nowhere, I cleared it out again and started to install w2k pro. Only apparent prob was the fact that no .cls or .rmi files were able to be copied to the HD, so I proceeded with out them all. Everything seems to be running fine now, but will any probs be encountered in the future w/o these files?
