Okay, i have two win 2k machines. one is just in a workgroup and one is in a domain. I can get them communicate peir to peir no problem. What i want to do is use my dial up connection on my workgroup machine to connect to my RAS NT4 server at the office and share the connection. Also no problem. What i cant do is once i have established the connection through the peir to peir connection i have at home is connect to my work domain on my win 2k machine at home through the workgroup machine. I am able to finally ping the server after doing some routing table manipulation but it wont find my profile or connect me to the drives. Any have any idea or is this to confusing. I'll clarify if necassary. thank you in advance
you must join the domain in order to access the your works domain's resources other wise you must make a Virtual Private Network connection or a tunnel directly to your server at work.
