Hi,
I have 2 OSs in my PC, 1. windows 2000 Pro and 2. XP Pro SP1. From the last 2 days, I am unable to
browse the Internet. For this, i am using, Netgear wireless router and adpter. XP pro is working fine
but in Win2k pro is getting 169.x.x.x instead of 192.x.x.x (XP pro is getting 192.x.x.x). In Win2k pro
it was showing that, it was connected. but received is 0 bytes. Can some one help to resolve this issue

thanks
-Giridhar

You may need to install a different driver for Win2k. Check the manufacturer's website.

did it work before with the same config. on 2K ? Did you make any changes ?

Did you try Netgear's WLan configuration assistant ? (if there is one... but most WLan routers manufacturers provide one)

And, in my country at least, I heard Netgear proposes toll-free hotline... did you try to reach them ?
