HI,

I am using a compaq evo laptop, and when i output to TV i get all the wrong colours, and i only get a picture at all if i push the screen down, is there a way to have the laptop screen on and have the right colours?

Check your dual output software, if there is a setting for "clone", try choosing that. It should copy the monitor to the 2nd output.
