Ok, I just wanted to check on this to make sure I'm on the right track.
If I'm running Windows 2000 Server (client access license are per seat) with Terminal Services do I need BOTH a W2K CAL and a TS CAL for my users at work? And for the ones running TS at home I only need a TS CAL? Or would their work one cover them?

And if I install MS Office on the Terminal Server (running application mode), do I then need to purchase a license for each user who executes the software?

Thanks again!

(working on getting a book for terminal server so I can answer stuff myself)

yes, you need both for all users, excpet for users w/ win2K pro, that has a TS license built-in, so you don't need one.
MS has some good info on the web site "deploying terminal services" if you can find it.
As for Office- you can install one copy and have everyone use it, but to be legal you need a separate license for each user.
