Hi, I am trying to send a doc from Word 2000 by using "send as attachment" but every time I get an error-Mapi failure, and the Outlook dosent even open. Any ideas?? Thanks!

I don't think Outlook supports mapi(message application programe interface)Outlook has it's own code.

You need an Exchange Server to send the mail. When you have Exchange Server configured properly then Outlook will send the mail. As a stand alone computer, Outlook will not send your mail since it needs to connect to your ISP to send mail.
