Can anyone tell me where to get a copy of the drivers for the Trident Cyber 9388 Video Chipset for Windows2000. I have a AMS Tech Rodeo 1000 Laptop and the company must be out of business because there is now website up and I can't get a hold of anyone. Anyways does anyone have any info on where there might be workable drivers for Win2000.
Thanks.

I did some searching for you. The Twinhead (http://www.twinhead.com) PowerSlim Model P90 uses the same graphics chipset. All I could find were Win98 drivers at http://www.twinhead.com/CSD/service.htm, but you're taking a chance to get them to work correctly under W2K.
I also found that the MicroFlex FlexNote TS290 used the Trident 9388 video chipset; they show an SMI driver for the TS290i at http://www.microflextech.com/support/Microsoft/win2000/results.htm, but I couldn't get their ftp site to download the driver file.
Win95/98 drivers are for the Trident 9388 chipset are found at http://visualflex.net/gigagon/trident/trident.htm.
Of final note, if you search for "9388" at http://activewin.com/win2000/win2000hcl.txt, you'll see that the hardware compatibility lists shows the Trident 9388 chipset as compatible. Maybe compatible drivers are located on the W2K CD...
