Trap Exception Error

I have just tried to boot my machine up and have got the following error after the POST and before the Win2K splash screen/

Trap=0000006=========EXCEPTION===========

tr=0028 cr0=00000011 cr2=00000000 cr3=00000000

gdt limit=03FF base=00017000 idt limit=07FF base = 00017400

Any ideas at all ?

I recieved the same message on my PC as well. It came to be when I removed a networking components.
How I solved it:

Then i did a Repair Install (Install, then it detects an older install, then i said R for repair).

It deleted the old system, and reinstalled the new.

When it was all done, I was amazed. I have a hatred for microsoft probably more than anyone, but this time I had sparkles in my eyes.

The system was completely restored, all my programs, desktop settings, dial-up configs.. All were back to normal. I simply re-applied the patches and SP's and that was it.
